Dennis M. Kirschbaum
Dennis M. Kirschbaum is executive director of Hillel at the University of Rochester, a writer, and poet. From 2001-2014, Kirschbaum served as Vice President for Campus Services at Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus life. Prior to that he was Executive Director of the Public Risk Management Association, a professional association serving risk managers in state and local government. He earned a B.A. in English Literature from Guilford College and a M.A. degree in Jewish Studies from Baltimore Hebrew University.
He has traveled extensively in Israel, India, Thailand, Morocco, and Egypt and he is an Adirondack 46er having hiked to the summit of the highest peaks in New York state. His poetry chapbook Clattering East, is published by Finishing Line Press. He lives and works in Rochester, N.Y. and Washington Grove, Md.
